The world is developing day by day. Many inventions are made for our own convenience. One of the astounding inventions is the Internet. But we face a lot of attacks and threats on the internet. All our personal information and data depend on technology and thus hackers can steal personal data. Hence, cybersecurity is very important to establish a safe virtual reality During this pandemic, Students are swamped with Online Classes and it is mandatory that all students follow the rules of online security.

Some rules are given below:

1. Never share personal information

2. Never share passwords, personal information, etc. without your parent’s permission.

3. Never click on pop-ups

4. Clicking on pop-ups and ads can result in viruses being downloaded to the device which can cause major harm. 

5. Use a strong password for your account

6. When it comes to choosing a password, ensure that the characters are long and should include upper and lower cases, numerals, and any special character; It should be harder to crack.

7. Don’t talk to strangers 

8. Don't communicate with strangers online and never agree to meet in person. If some stranger tries to contact you, inform your parents. 

9. Connect to the internet only if needed

10. Disconnect your internet connection when you don’t use it. This makes your device secure from online fraud.

11. Never attend calls from strangers

12. Make sure that you do not attend calls from anonymous users asking about personal details until your parents verify.
